Christmas is just a few days. A blogger brought to my attention a post circulating on social media about why Santa has Autistic traits.

I never thought about Santa being on the spectrum. After reading this list, the idea sort of makes sense. Presented below are 13 Reasons why Santa has similar traits to someone with Autism.

Many shopping malls throughout the United States are adding sensory-friendly Santas, so those with sensory issues can visit the Jolly Ol’ Saint Nicholas in an environment that is less stimulating. I wonder if Santa gets sensory overload as I do in that suit and all the excitement and energy from children reciting their Christmas list. Regardless, Santa is an excellent example of the wonder of neurodiversity that makes our world unique.
