Consider online work by Aaron Tanner
In November of 2017, I had a blog published in The Horkey Handbook. It is a virtual assistant and freelance writing website started by a young entrepreneur in Minnesota named Gina Horkey. I took her online classes to learn the ins and outs of finding freelance work.
For those with High-Functioning Autism who are looking for a job, I give reasons why online work would be a good fit for someone with the condition. For those who have a disability other than Autism, online freelance work is also an excellent way of getting a foot in the employment door.
For those who cannot afford college, I highly recommend taking Ms. Horkey’s classes. A great thing about many Virtual Assistant and online jobs is many of these positions do not require a diploma. The biggest takeaway from the lessons is to ask around favorite businesses as many jobs are unadvertised.
The remote nature of virtual assistant and freelance work can help break barriers for those with a disability and help them become productive members of society. For those with a disability with issues finding a job, consider online work today.
